New Arrival Cards for Entry to Tasmania

Completing a Tasmanian arrival card will be mandatory for all passengers, including Tasmanian residents, until further notice.
The Tasmanian government says that the passenger information is being collected to help track where people are in the community. This will make it easier to offer advice or assistance if needed.
But the Tasmanian state government has stopped short of implementing health checks at Tasmanian airports, saying that temperature checks are ineffective at detecting coronavirus.
So far, there are seven confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Tasmania.
At this stage, the federal government has not imposed any restrictions on domestic flights, despite banning large gatherings of more than 500 people and recommending social distancing measures. However, this could change in the foreseeable future.
