If you donate through the website, do they email you a receipt, or do you have to print it out then? I want to donate today, but I'm not near a printer.

I think that covers everyone so far on this forum/thread that's doing Movember (and is gratefully soliciting donations).

Personally I can't see Amex going bananas on this one (it's impossible to donate to multiple specific people in one transaction), but I'll put some limits on myself. After all, funny things happen (as we all know and love to hate about Amex...)

My hat goes off to all of you who have mastered a mo for a good cause!

I'll be donating to everyone that lists their mospace (or their registration number) here. I keep on thinking about going in it myself, but I have the full beard normally and would struggle to part with it (it's very much a part of who I am).

They display on screen a link to print the invoice as well as emailing you the tax invoice. So have no fear, donate away and as long as you provide a valid email address, you'll have an inbox full of receipts!

Thank you (and everyone else that is growing the mo). All but simongr in this thread have donations from me now, and Simon will be getting one tomorrow!

I've gone with 2/day. I'm not as worried about the Amex fraud squad - I haven't done anything out of the ordinary or tremendously wrong. I'm amused that we're all currently living in fear of the Amex Fraud squad for "unusual transactions". I have receipts for everything.

I'm a doctor, but the "bear" part is a reference to one of the subcultures that I exist in. The subcuture almost requires that your online handles include the term "bear" in them in some form.

I also have a full beard, and am quite attached to it, hence I struggle to enter Movember, as I would have to shave it off on November 1 to start the month. I haven't shaved in years.

I shave quite regularly - every 2 to 4 weeks using electric shears with a 6mm spacer.

It used to be good at the Barber - a trim required the hot towel and lots of snipping. I gave up on it when they started asking questions like "#3 sir?".

No, I am merely a donator to others, my comment about me actually being in Movember from previous post:

I only fear somebody asking me to grow a Mo in the future - tried it before, but it is like a drowned emaciated rat, scratchy, multi coloured (grey, red & brown) and Mrs LW likes me clean shaven.

No, not doing it. Already have a full beard that I'm incredibly attached to, and I can't bear to shave it off on the 1st November.
