25 points short

Hi all

I'm 25 points short of what would be a useful flight reward, and my Skywards points expire at the end of September.

Does anyone know if there's a way to earn the extra points I need? I could redeem some Amex points, but converting 2000 points when I only need 25 is pretty wasteful. A hotel room for the night would pretty much wipe out much of the savings on a reward ticket.

I don't know anything about this, but it says you can earn miles by referring a friend? That might be worth looking into.

If you get desperate, you could always buy top-up miles. Though you have to buy at least 2,000 and they cost US$40/thousand. Probably best just to transfer the points over from Amex.
