Android App Sign In Issues

Morning AFFers,

Has anyone else been experiencing an issue when signing in to the Android app?? I have been unable to sign in for at least the last few days. When attempting to, a pop up appears that says

'That was unexpected Sorry for the interruption. Let's try that again'

Reinstalling the app has not made any difference, I am still able to sign in via the website however so I am able to book etc.

Anyone else had this issue??

I have just logged in OK to the Hilton App on Android - I assume that's what you are referring to. Seems to be working fine showing my upcoming stays and current points etc.

The Apps of everyone other hotel chain loyalty scheme listed on this forum work fine in my Android 4.3 phone that I use for overseas travel, except for Hilton Honors - which won't install at all.

4.3 is very old.
Manny apps have been 4.4+ for a while, and I've started to see some as 6+

The current Hilton App 2.13.0 requires 5.0+

I've given up on it tbh, their support is essentially non existent - took them about 4 emails to understand that I wasn't asking about missing points or my password not working, and then their advice was to ring one of their IT departments.

I can manage things through the website and all points/status is correct. But it is frustrating if I want to quickly check availability or prices for potential stays when I'm on the go.

I actually prefer the website, as the app doesn't allow you to show flexible dates
