A good point though. There should be a sticky for the current working cards. That thread's last 10 pages is just people complaining the ANZ black doesn't work

Though is not really "Fly for Free" but rather "Fly for Less" as you will pay a credit card surcharge to get the points, and then some fees on booking (and more if it is an airline like QF or SQ that also charges a Fuel Surcharge).

For some flights that cost can add up to a similar, or even greater amount, than buying AA/Lifemiles and the like. Remember here too that the cost of J return to Europe is a lot less points when booked via AA rather than via QFF.


Though you can use both approaches. What is best for YOU, depends on YOUR circumstances.

I look at my QCUcc results and it has really suited me as a retail credit card. Not totally free as it has an annual fee but I do enjoy the point a dollar on everything I put on it. Others may not get my results.
At $9.95 the AFF booklet is helpful so that is a small price to pay so you can tailor your circumstances to a credit card.
If you have a core credit card debt don't even start on a new credit card.

I suspect the reason this isn't happening is no one is volunteering, is that you I see with your hand up?

got the anz black card in feb. havent been told by bank that we cant earn points on ato yet. does it apply to select or old or every anz black card holder doesnt earn points now? what about hsbc platinum rewards? need to know asap so i can choose the right card to pay my overdue bas.

Applies to everyone I'm afraid. Use a different card for ATO now, no more points with ANZ
