Best Honolulu hotel for HH Diamond?

I'm hoping this is the right thread to ask a Hilton question. I'm a newly minted VA platinum and will shortly apply for Hilton Diamond. Timing is everything! Can anyone recommend the best Honolulu hotel for HH Diamond? I have 4 days there in December. My reading of the FT threads is that I should not expect too much anywhere in Honolulu.

We stayed at the Hilton Hawaiian Village in the Aliaa ( can't remember the spelling) tower. It was good and you have a private check in, private pool just for guests staying in that wing and canapés in the evening.
