I've seen some poorly designed hotel rooms but this one at an Austrian hotel I stayed at last week was particularly bizarre. There was a clear glass wall between the shower and the main area of the room with no curtains or anything else. Could get rather awkward if sharing the room with someone you don't really know.

What's the strangest hotel room design you've seen?

) when I used to travel, most of the time I would occupy the room myself, thus such windows were fine. I always leave the blinds open, it does add to the overall light in the bathroom and the overall sense of space in the hotel room. Although I strictly reserve these comments for "traditionally" located bathrooms with toilets that have translucent doors, as opposed to bathrooms located right in the centre of the room, which are just bizarre.
