Flybuys transfer bonus??

Not sure of the details, but Velocity has just emailed me to advise that "Something special is on its way"

"Do you have reward points stacking up?

We’ve got something a little extra for you, and it’s right around the corner. Get your rewards points ready because we have a treat for you this May."

and asks me to pick which transfer partner I am most interested in from:-

Banks and Cards - AMEX, ANZ, CITI, NAB, BankSA, Bank of Melbourne, Diners, CardServices, HSBC, Suncorp
Accomodation - IHG, Accor, Choice, Marriott, Shangri-la and EnviroBank

And.....FLYBUYS! which I am very excited about!

"Keep your eyes peeled, we’ll let you know when your offer has arrived!"

Awesome if there actually is an Flybuys bonus incoming!

If there is Flybuys with the 15% bonus, I have a plentiful cache ready to go.

Interestingly CBA is not listed, It missed out May last year but was included in November last year.

Flybuys gets a 5% transfer bonus, and 10% if you enable auto-transfer for the first time.

Not great but better than nothing if you need (like me) to use the points.

Doesn't start until May - so don't jump the gun!

Generous....not! I have 230K FB pts which would only be 120+K Velocity pts or 126+K pts if I turn auto TF on.

Its worth 11.5k additional VP (230k FB is only 115k VP).

Still not much of a reward - but better than anything over the last 2 years - and as the manual transfer rate is only 5%, I am not sure that we are going to see anything better any time soon.

I am transferring because I am going to use them - I am not sure that I would otherwise.
