Looking at cruises which fly one day and cruise back.
Do the lounge accesses etc and luggage amounts still apply as per status or is it the cruise package nominated amount?
This one is a One World airline

Good question. I’d hope that status comes into play. You’d need the PNR then plug it into the relevant site. Most TA’s understand the FF situation.

I’ve always avoided booking cruises where flights are included as I like to sort out my own. My brother and friends who use Viking always book the included flights. Now you mention it I think my brothers Velocity status was recognized. And the friends have paid extra to get the seats they want using the included flights. But they don’t have status.

It should come into it.

However, as each booking is separate, it's theoretically possible that a fare class through a cruise booking may not include those benefits (just like how some upgrade and award bookings the last few years may exclude e.g. transfers or lounge access). But I'm not aware of any that would restrict that right now.

Normally it will be a standard fare that is booked, so all the usual Frequent Flyer benefits come along with it. Is it Business Class or Economy? You would need to watch the booking class in Economy if it is QR or CX and you’re earning to QF.

They have some excellent J class fares. Yes status goes with you.
