What were the 2 leaves you had left, and which one is now (?) marked as done?

Interestingly you only have until 31 January to choose your reward- isn't it usually 90 days @Flyerwin?

I think there is a Qantas bug.

I just logged in to my Qantas account, and I see this:




I deliberately left 1 activity undone until end of the year, and it's still not done.

I also don't see an option to choose, so there must be a bug somewhere in the system, and I got that email in error.

I was deliberately avoiding getting green tier until end of the year but surprisingly just got this email. Interesting. I wonder what I did. lol.

Strange, when did you trigger it? I donated to the Great Barrier Reef thing, on 30/12, I have until 30/4/2025 to select (I assume it only went green yesterday or today, so you get the month plus three, it seems).

Agree, seems to be a glitch.

Like you @Flyerwin I am leaving "give back" until a month out from my anniversary in June.

I did the offset a couple of hours ago for my last leaf, so will report back.

(Last year, I got the last leaf and was informed I'd requalified but needed a manual intervention to get the 10k point reward after requalifying. This year, it's the 50SC as I'll fall over the line to SG with them. )

On 2 January, fully 12 days after doing the offset, I got an email indicating I'd requalified for Green Tier. Hooray... Finally... Right! Right? Errr... no...

Upon login, I see that the offset leaf is not showing and 'offset flying' is not showing as 'Done'. Another manual intervention is needed. Email to Qantas being dashed off now...

Afterwards, and yes they were deducted immediately.

Pretty flawless experience for me.
Quiz, offset existing booking, offset home, bought some wine and made a donation - all in one go and my reward appeared within 24h.

I chose not to renew green tier this year. I had 3 leaves with a couple of weeks to go but it would have cost 3,200 points to make a donation plus 8,700 points to offset my Tassie holiday home so that I could get 10,000 points back; a loss of 1,900 points.

Since I reached LTG and have almost no chance of making WP in the coming year, the SCs are of no value to me.
