I haven't seen a thread on this development yet. In the very early stages so details are understandably vague, but the possibility of a co-branded payment card between Qatar/Visa that would allow you to earn Avios here in Australia could be a considerable threat to Qantas FF dominance. I will be watching for developments eagerly!
