Qatar change ticket date or cancel then re book?

I need to change my arrival date (Adelaide -Moscow) by one day to match my visa. Qatar offer a Voucher with %10 more. Can I cancel my flight to get the voucher with %10 more value then buy a new ticket which cost $200 more then the original dates. OR just change the arrival date and pay the extra $200...Cheers
