More than 300 full time positions have gone in the Far North. And that is a lot more than administrators. Doctors have generally been safe but many nurses and health workers have gone. Of course, the people most affected by these changes are the ones with the least voice.

Like boat people they do come and have a right. Most clinicians if not all will treat these patients. Life is life after all and you don't need to be educated to understand that. QLD is a tertiary facility for PNG, formally and informally.
