Sydney hotel walking distance lyric theatre

I'm attending a performance of Beautiful, Carole King musical. I'm thinking of Hyatt Regency Sydney. I want to make sure that I can walk to the theatre. I googled it & appears I can. Just being over cautious.

How far would you consider walkable? For example SWMBO considers 5 km each way walkable if it's dry and she's feeling energetic!

Less than 10 minutes walk from Hyatt Regency Sydney to your hotel. Lot of construction in Sydney at the moment though.

If you give yourself extra time you could catch the ferry across. Maybe it saves you 3min of walking but I find it fun. Hyatt Regency to Star City is walkable, you'll cross the bridge across Darling Harbour, close to 15-20min walk I would say. I think there were also some hotels at Darling Harbour, that's even closer.

It is perfectly walkable and on a fine night, rather pleasant! You do have the Novotel, Ibis, Darling and Star that are closer, and the new Sofitel, depending on when you're here.

The Star is just a lift ride and walk through a food court away from The Lyric Theatre as they're both in/attached to the casino.

Thank you all for the replies, I've looked at reviews for hotels closer to lyric, I wasn't too fussed on them, Hyatt regency appeared to have better overall reviews. Thank you again.
