So in reading that article, I still see absolutely no mention of HHonors benefits, yet you say we can be confident about points? That article also stated they had tried the midscale brand concept with Hampton Inn but for reasons only known to them, they escalated it into something better. Perhaps Hampton wasn't working for them? Don't get me wrong, I like the idea of added choice, but I cannot for the life of me see how we can be confident about points/stays/nights/HHonors benefits and even if we do, the rate will be less than most of the other brands (IE, similar or less than Hampton Inn and Home2 Suites which in the case of the latter is already half the going rate at the others and on room rate only).
