WestJet lounge access as QFF Gold member

We're travelling in the US and Canada later this year on a OWA Classic Business reward flight.

WestJet aren't part of OneWorld, but I have thought of booking a separate WestJet flight within Canada from YVR.

As a QFF Gold member, would I have any access to their YVR domestic lounges (the flights would certainly be WestJet coded, and not QF)?

I'm also Velocity Gold as well, so if I booked a separate reward with them instead would I get access to Air Canada's lounges?

There are no Qantas status benefits when flying with WestJet.

Annoyingly, you also get no Velocity status benefits when flying with Air Canada.
