Travel benefits
Enjoy an elevated travel experience with the Westpac Altitude Qantas Black. Here’s what to expect…
Lounge passes
The Westpac Altitude Qantas Black credit card includes two Qantas Club Complimentary Lounge Invitations per year.
The single-entry Qantas Club Complimentary Lounge Invitations are redeemable at any domestic Qantas Club lounge in Australia, or select Qantas-operated International Business Lounges. If you travel with Qantas and don’t have lounge access through status, a Business Class ticket or a Qantas Club membership, then the Qantas Club invitations may be beneficial to you. These lounge invitations are transferable to other Qantas Frequent Flyer members, so you can bring a friend or family member into the lounge before your flight (or treat yourself twice!)

Complimentary global data roaming with FlexiRoam
The Card can access one complimentary 3GB global data roaming plan, valid for 15 days consecutive and usable across more than 150 countries. You can choose between a physical SIM or an eSIM, depending on what your device supports.
The key thing to understand is that this benefit is issued per Card Account, not per cardholder. Because primary and additional cardholders on a Westpac credit card share the same card number, one plan is available to the account each calendar year, but additional cardholders don’t receive their own. Terms and conditions apply.
Complimentary travel insurance
Cardholders will receive Complimentary International Medical Travel Insurance, Complimentary Domestic Travel Insurance and Rental Vehicle Excess Insurance in Australia international, underwritten by Allianz.
Note that Complimentary International Medical Travel Insurance covers covers overseas emergency assistance, medical and hospital expenses, funeral expenses and personal liability only. Trip cancellation, travel delay and luggage cover are not included. Activation isn’t required for the domestic travel or rental vehicle excess cover. Eligibility criteria, terms, conditions, exclusions, limits and, applicable sub-limits apply.
Ensure you read the Westpac Credit Card International Product Disclosure Statements (effective 1 October) and Westpac Credit Cards Domestic Complimentary Insurance Policy Information Booklet (effective 1 October) before using the complimentary travel insurance on your card.
Flight Delay Access Pass
You and up to four travelling companions may also be eligible for complimentary access to over 1,800 participating airport lounges worldwide if your registered flight is delayed by 120 minutes or more, under the Complimentary Flight Delay Access Pass. Each flight needs to be registered separately, and there’s no cap on how many you can register.
Personal concierge service
Westpac Altitude Qantas Black cardholders can access an exclusive Personal Concierge Service. This 24/7 service allows you to book experiences online, including tickets to concerts and events, restaurant reservations and more.
Earning points
With the Westpac Altitude Qantas Black credit card, you’ll earn 1.5 Qantas Points per $1 on international spend, 0.8 points per $1 spent on everyday transactions and 0.4 Qantas Points per $1 on other purchases. The full Qantas Points-earning rate is capped at $10,000 per statement period, after which you’ll earn 0.25 Qantas Points per $1.
If there is no activity on your Qantas account at least once every 18 months, then your Qantas Points will expire. For those who don’t fly often, having a credit card that earns Qantas Points may be a good way to keep your account active and prevent points from expiring.
Using Qantas Points
Qantas Points are best used for flights – especially in premium cabins – and flight upgrades. But that’s not all they can be used for. You could also use Qantas Points for hotels, car rentals, or even book a cruise!
You’re not limited to just Qantas flights, either. Qantas Points can be used for flights with airlines that are part of the Oneworld alliance. Fly across an extensive network with Japan Airlines, Alaska Airlines, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Finnair, American Airlines and more. It’s also possible to fly around the world with Qantas Points!

There are also a number of Qantas partner airlines that aren’t part of the Oneworld alliance. You could also use your Qantas Points to fly with China Airlines, IndiGo, Emirates, LATAM, KLM and more.
Prefer to use your Qantas Points on the ground? Take your pick from movie tickets, gift cards, items from Qantas Marketplace, or even a case of wine from Qantas Wine!
