I have never understood Ebates. Perhaps I should spend some time finding out more.

Not interested in shopping online but hotel bookings are a different story.

I haven't heard via news media, that this will be limited to bulk billed patients, although commonsense dictates that it would be. My doctor does not bulk bill, so I'm hoping that their fee does not increase next time I have to attend for a book of scripts.

Just wondering how long the AG fleet has included VW and BMW 4wds. I understood there was a policy to buy Australian products, where suitable, so the Ford Territory must be considered as unsuitable.

Maybe they are just getting in early for when there won't be any Australian made cars available.

My Doctor only bulk-bills for followup appointments for same illness. So unless that gap increases, won't make much difference to me as I have rarely qualified for bulk-billing in recent years.

The trouble with so many of these sorts of changes is that we don't see the modelling. For some years the hospital system has been trying to divert people with relatively minor issues from their casualty or outpatients to GPs. Will putting a copay in place for more people just undo all of that?

I don't see any real scope for changing behaviour around the Health System, and fear it will become something like the UK system if we just pile more and more on to the Medicare funded component. There are some things the UK does well, particularly around case managing people within the local trust, but they have a very high rate of still birth and other issues more often found in less wealthy countries.

I lost bulk-billing when I moved to Sydney in 1988 - he refused to be limited by the system. Fair enough - excellent doctor!

Since returning to SEQ our new doctor only bulk-bills for children. Will be interesting to see if the new BB changes will cover everyone or just adults.

As a balding middle aged overweight man I figured it wasn't appropriate. Although in a cruel twist of fate she did have some of my nuts.

Question - has anyone from WA moved their Gas over from Alinta to Kleenheat?

Are the savings tangible? Reason I ask is I received the 10k bonus points + $50 credit + 1pt/$ offer from Flybuys today, so just trying to do some homework before deciding either way.
