You know you're in a QP in Perth when .... you see bogans in there wearing Holden shirts drinking beer at 4.30 am ....
Because the first plane out to Bali is almost gone...
Apologies to Icehouse.
Cold chisel?
Oops. Yes. Apologies to cold chisel.
Apart from discolouration, I'm sticking a fork in the unicorn bite & am calling it done.
The scabbing has gone.
I have shown the initial post-lancing photos to some people & over the weekend, 2 different people have told me it is the result of a white tail spider bite.
As far as I know, I'm not a doctor nor have I played one on TV, nor have the two guys I spoke to. Our local resident medicos might come up with the same opinion, who knows.
But if this was the case, how come no one who is a doctor (there were several who saw me) pick it up? Would the treatment or the potential outcome been different if them or I actually knew what it was?
No one picked it up because it's highly unlikely that a White Tail Spider caused your symptoms

I know the guy who wrote the paper, genius I might add![]()
Well? How is Fuzz?
And I know the genius who knows the genius who wrote the paper.
That's why I'll leave the medicoing to the resident AFF medical professionals.
I wonder why there was such a Fantales shortage in Perth ... had to try 7 different supermarkets before I found one that had 'em!
Thanks for the reference Princess Fiona. I had been taught that there was no link between white tails and necrosis, and now I have the evidence. No one picked it up because it's highly unlikely that a White Tail Spider caused your symptoms
