Everything (including my wallet) goes into my back pack these days - I can't stand having anything even the slightest bit bulky in either back pocket.

Let us know when you find the TARDIS of wallets! Mine is fat and I'm coming to the conclusion that I need to rationalise the cards. I'm sure I'm getting curvature of the spine as the right cheek is 40mm higher than the left when sitting! :shock: (Too much information?)

I've given up on carrying the actual cards and now use Storcard app on my iPhone. Seems to work ok and drops my wallet by 2cm!

May I ask those that already have a Bellroy - what colour do you have? and any particular reason for that choice.

May I ask those that already have a Bellroy - what colour do you have? and any particular reason for that choice.

It'll only fit one passport so might not be useful in that situation.

Mine's black. Reason? - it's the only colour the shop had in stock :mrgreen:.

As others in this thread have pointed out, Stocard is a handy solution to a fat wallet but is limited by the fact that flatbed scanners (such as at Coles or Woolies) can't read your phone screen. Have had no problems using it with handheld scanners however, such as at IKEA.

After this thread stimulated my interest, I decided to take the plunge and buy the Bellroy Note Sleeve - absolutely love it so far! Great quality, functional enough and hopefully won't slowly rub a hole in my suit pants as other wallets have!

The passport section appeared to have 3 sides, so I think they would be less likely to fall out, as the opening is at the fold.

I will see if anyone else answers about the colour selection, and will buy one next week, and make it part of his Anniversary present.

I am not convinced regarding the Bellroy. As somebody has already pointed out the long one is a pick pocketers dream. Even the video Bellroy posts shows that. I have a Hugo Boss wallet which I have had close to 3 years. It comfortably fits in my back pocket and it carries 18 cards at the moment plus cash. (which astounded me when I counted the cards) I do like the electronic intervention even if the bar code scanning doesn't work well. I have downloaded the Key Ring app and I like it.

There is no prospect of the passport falling out. I was going to post a photo of mine but the Bellroy video shows everything clearly.

Except: (and this answers Bolthead's post) the video is IMHO very silly in showing the guy putting his wallet into a back (sucker) pocket. That is always asking for trouble.

As I stated further up the thread, I put mine in my front pocket all the time. Even with fairly tight jeans with vertical front pockets it slides in, and fits, just perfectly. My previous, conventional square wallet, was often difficult to drag out of my front jeans pocket because of being fatter, the corners catching in the pocket and the more textured leather. This was especially the case if trying to get it out while sitting (eg. in the car at a toll booth). No such problem with the Bellroy; the firm, shiny, non-textured leather slides much more readily.

I thought that I would take my passport out when in Australia and leave it at home, but the wallet works so well that I leave my passport in it all the time.

Put it this way: I'm much more impressed with it than I thought I would be.

I have one of the Slim Sleeves in the Steel Blue, and absolutely love it.

I managed to get one of the Travel Wallets for free, and it's simply massive. I knew it was not going to be small, but can't say i'm a fan. I may stick to my current travel arrangements for passport/cash/cards, and sell this one.

Coat or jacket is fine. Back of pants would be a bit big.

I don't agree. It's good to demonstrate that it does fit in that pocket.
I wouldn't normally carry it in there, but that wallet is only out of my bag between cab and lounge anyway. In that time, when I need two hands, I can put the wallet in my pocket. That's half the reason I really like it.

Bindibuys, for such a large wallet, the brown is nicer than black imo =)

edit: looks like they have added colours since I got mine. I still prefer brown though.
