You can always book in another name the second night, just ask your name to be removed on check in.

Anyone following FlyerTalk? I dislike the abuse seen there. AFF is light years better for politeness even though we sometimes jab the ribs of someone else.

You have the choice of two free nights at any hotel (but availability may not be as good as award nights) or take the points, if you are prepared to risk the availability its a no brainer.

I hate it. I try to stay away except for a few threads.

That is not an easy choice to make. Either 24,000 points or 2 nights with limited availability.

Anyone finding updates are slow?

I have had 3 nights so far with 2 on Saturday nights and 2 brands.

Track my status is only showing 1 night and 1 brand. Funny enough that was a booking before promotion started?

Yes, their updates are shocking, looks like they did a major sweep last week and also counted award stays. It would have to be the biggest joke of a promo I have seen, barely excusable for a first run but this is their third similar promo, so it should not be that hard.

Not good. I hope this doesn't turn out like the Win Big promotion where I had to constantly chase them to get the rightful points I was owed.

I have now received an e-mail stating they sincerely apologise as the points were posted due to a technical error. Can't really complain as I knew they shouldn't have been awarded in the first place.

They ran a sweep which I suspect picked up award stays, fixed now but I have to say it's a cluster coughk, really very unprofessional.
