pages loading incorrectly

I seem to be having a problem with pages loading. When I click on a link or navigate to another page half the time the page doesn't load properly (its a white screen with an ad at the top), and I have to hit the back button to reach the page. Sometimes it doesn't let me even do this and I have to shut the internet off and reopen. I'm currently running internet explorer so I'm not sure if it's a browser issue or not.

I had that on IE today, Firefox was ok. I cleared the IE cache and all returned to normal.

I was having a problem like this earlier today, clearing the cache didn't work but now it seems to have fixed itself somehow.

It is resolved now. The issue I saw was only with IE. Other browsers worked fine on same pages. What I saw was just a single AMEX add at the top of the page.

But all's well now. Maybe a delayed leap second issue.

The problem has recurred this morning so I have stopped using IE for AFF and am using Firefox instead without an issue.

The problem with IE is that the Amex ad pops up after the AFF welcome screen, covers the screen and won't go away and basically prevents me from seeing anything on AFF.

It only occurred when I went from the "what's new?" tab to the "Discussion Board" tab

Sounds like a rogue flash/jscript add that popups up by rotation on AFF from time to time and react badly with the page content or IE. I've seen cases of this last year when AFF wouldn't work at all on the iPad because of one specific add. Not sure what it was but it went away.

Maybe this only happens for those who are not members as well?

And, in this current case it only affects IE. Firefox and Chrome do not have the issue (but then again my Firefox and Chrome have AddBlockPlus, FlashBlock, Ghostery, NoScript and others to block practically every add and annoying web identity gauging cr*p schemes that I never see adds anyway!)

Sounds like the problem has been identified and fixed but it was happening to paid up members (this black duck )

Still having trouble. On Safari its a no go after loading the first post.

Chrome loads but takes a few minutes per page. Im on Cable and it usually loads in a few seconds.

I have been having a similar issue for a while on Internet Explorer with laptop but haven't noticed if it has been fixed or not. I constantly get partially loaded pages.

Sometimes after viewing new posts in a thread I have to press the back button 3 times to get back to thread list.

On the Samsung S3 and not using the app when I click on a thread it does not load. Sometimes refresh works and other times I have to click on the thread again. Frustrating when you think the thread is loaded but actually still in the thread list.

New iPhone interface is really annoying. I use the unread a lot. Pages flickering all the time, doesn't seem to recognize threads that have been read. Really dislike this interface please roll back to earlier version
