Very intriguing. Rusutsu is great for a short trip for beginners, or for experienced off piste/backcountry skiers. If you had a car, could be a decent base for day trips but not as good as the Hilton. Reward stays are likely to be very good value due to the short peak season they have. I imagine rewards will be priced for the lower off peak (most of the year) rather than a high level for the crazy room rates during Jan/Feb.

Another resort in Hokkaido-Kiroro.Will have both Sheraton and Tribute hotels.Tribute is the latest Starwood brand.
