Immigration fast track at Denpasar airport?

Hi there - a few years ago Indonesia stopped the paid fast track immigration service on arrival to Denpasar airport in Bali. The villa that we're staying at has offered this - is it legal again? Has anyone paid for immigration fast track at Denpasar recently?

It is legal and to the best of my knowledge always has been. Some Hotels and accomodation offer it either in your package or as an extra cost ( there are agencies that also handle the fast track entry) If it’s included in the package we do it but if it’s an added extra we choose not to as I don’t really think it’s great value as the baggage is what usually holds people up at DPS and I’ve found it doesn’t save a stack of time unless you have carry on luggage only.

We got fast tracked a few months back as we have young children, then waited 45 min for our bags and pram.

Fast tracking is legal and is a common service in airports all around the world. What they banned in DPS was touts walking up and down offering those in the queue a fast tracked service for a neqotiated and inflated price.

Thanks everyone. Very true about the baggage being the hold up anyways. I waited just over an hour for my priority bag once!

Christmas time was a 2 hour clearance, i would have taken a fast track but the ones offered were hundreds of dollars. Just a scam.

So we were offered fast track as we joined the immigration queue, for $50 USD. Which sounded really expensive. We queued for about 45 minutes and our bag was there when we got through - not sure how long it'd been waiting for us, but probably not long.
A friend of ours on the Qantas flight from Sydney arrived just after 8pm, and only queued for 2 minutes...

I was in the queue at the far left-hand side for around half hour this afternoon and it wasn't exclusively for seniors...

No. Families with young children can use it.

Over 60s not far left it is way way way right where APEC channel is - unless there is another one far left - way way way right is like out in Siberia - no one goes near it

Are "All Passports" also located next to it? If so, it may move faster if nobody is in the priority channel. I'll check it out next week...

Can’t remember - I know I sought out APEC channel and was pointed way over there and had 60s+ channel next to it

It used to be on the far left.
Last timeI went through it had been moved to the right side.

It will be there - though probably moved yet again

Agree. It was far left when we flew in in September last year. I suspect people didn’t see it on the left
