Breakfast was nice as runners in the Gold Coast Marathon passed below.



And even with a passing shower there was beauty to be found.

Some better photos from the Cotswolds (my wife is a far better photographer than me). First is our accommodation. The window above the flag was ours. We had English (champagne-style) sparkling, croquet, cheese, and sun. Reminds us of the need to visit the northern hemisphere each July.
The stone toadstall that you see is a house footing from Roman times (to keep the vermin out of the house). They have been appropriated as garden decorations.

We had an amazing drive from Broadway in the Cotswolds, through Shropshire, then through Snowdownia to Conwy, Wales (very much worth a visit). Sorry, photos were a bit ordinary.
We then went on to the Lakes District where my wife took this photo of some massive hydrogen fiery orb in the sky.

After dinner at the hotel, I wandered down to the malecon (the road/promenade around the bay). It’s closed to traffic on Saturday night for pop-up food stalls and free entertainment. I got into the mosh-pit .

A more cheerful, grooving crowd I have rarely seen. These Cubanos love their music.
