Don't. I said that just before SA I think it was, had the Pizza man shut down.Is this the longest that this thread has gone without posts? Must be a sign of how little virus we actually have now that there is nothing to say for more than 2 days! That at least is a good news story!

I love my ABC, but sometimes between her, Bill Bowtell and Swan, I feel like digging a hole for myself while I'm planting my trees.Yes that particular epidemiologist sometimes has pretty pointless articles being generated. She I think likes to stay in the news.
Didn't NSW have some deaths from Ruby Princess or do those count as acquired overseas?Id like to see a breakdown of deaths between overseas acquired and locally acquired cases? In NSW I believe all deaths except for those in aged care at NewMarch House very early on were all acquired overseas. Is Vic the only state to have deaths from locally acquired cases outside of aged care?
Is this the first death this year?

No QLD had a PNG fellow pass a few days ago.
I gave up on Swan in about the middle of last year; he such a hypocrite and WRONG so much of the time. And I gave up on ABC news about the same time in respect to the pandemic information. There’s so much they don’t report that it’s a waste of time listening to them thinking that you’re being properly informed.I love my ABC, but sometimes between her, Bill Bowtell and Swan, I feel like digging a hole for myself while I'm planting my trees.
Surely you can’t be talking about my ‘favourite’ epidemiologist Mary-Louise McLaws, WHO consultant - haha lolYes that particular epidemiologist sometimes has pretty pointless articles being generated. She I think likes to stay in the news.
I think that it is a pretty pointless exercise building a story just based on the the "current" situation, and moreso when the "current" vaccine situation has had a major unexpected hurdle with AZ suddenly being decided to not being preferred for the majority of the population, when in it was the basis of our vaccination program that AZ would be the main vaccine used.
So the "current" rate is lower than what was planned. That does not mean that the "current" rate will stay so. Pfizer will ramp up eventually with the extra ordered doses and Novavax will hopefully meet the regulatory requirements and then be added to the what is being injected per day.
Other vaccines are also still in the development pipeline.
Generally I find the AFF epidemiologists more reliable.Surely you can’t be talking about my ‘favourite’ epidemiologist Mary-Louise McLaws, WHO consultant - haha lol
Disclosed by now by SA Health that 15% of people working in the quarantine situation have refused so far, to be vaccinated.
Well at least he is doing something about it. In SA, they will just continue to Counsel people. It won't be mandatory. Not as bad as WA where about 40% refusing, but Im of the option, no jab no work in HQ situation.
WA Premier says mandatory vaccination for hotel quarantine workers was not his first choice, highlights public health benefits
WA Premier Mark McGowan has admitted it was not his first choice to make the COVID-19 vaccination mandatory for quarantine workers but says the state needs to guard against the virus as best it can.
Around two-in-five hotel quarantine workers in the state's system, part of the priority 1a vaccine rollout cohort, have so far not consented to the jab.
WA's Chief Health Officer Andrew Robertson is understood to be drafting new public health orders to implement the change which would stop workers being allowed to enter hotel quarantine facilities unless vaccinated.
Mr McGowan says mandating the Pfizer vaccine for quarantine workers is the right thing to do in order to protect the community.
