hi, I booked a flight with 18hrs layover and I'm able to book a hotel, but hotel check in and checkouts only allowing me to stay there for only 5,6 hours because my flight arrive at 5 in the morning and check in is at 2pm. and I can't book two nights with transit connect. what should I do.

Are you talking about the Abu Dhabi Airport transit hotel? They don't have that restriction on timing - did you contact them directly? If you're referring to a hotel outside the airport, I suggest ringing them (telephone) and asking for a "day booking" - many airport hotels offer this service, as your type of itinerary isn't uncommon. It's probably not available on third party booking services, you will have to deal with the hotel directly.

Welcome to AFF. Given you have 18 hours, I wouldn't think that's a dealbreaker.

Look at hotels at Yas Island which is much closer to AUH

Call them for a day rate and specify your check in/out times

Also investigate the Premier inn at AUH as it will save you a taxi ride.

Hi there, I just saw your thread. May I ask what you did in the end? I am in the same boat, arrival at 5 am, but Hotel Check-In time is 2 pm. I haven't contacted them yet though....
