To me it tasted like a cask wine. Brought back my uni memories actually!I am curious about your opinion the Penna. Was it that bad ?
Nothing wrong with it. Just boring and no character.

Your comment motivated me to try one of my 2015 Voyager Estate cabernets - I wouldn't say its undrinkable, but it certainly isn't quintessential Australian cabernet. Ripe fruits, smooth tannins but somehow quite light and boring.I recently bought and tried Voyager Estate Cab Sav 2017 and quite frankly it was barely drinkable. Exactly how you described, green, high on acid, low on fruit and abrasive to drink. Very disappointed with their flagship Cab Sav. I remember fabulous Voyager Estate CS from the past.
I ordered Old Faithful in last minutes and paid shipping cost. Tried in last three day and it tasted best the third day. Glad I brought it! Burge family winemakers draycott barossa valley shiraz 2018 is on the way! Can not wait tasting it!I have ordered both the Sharktooth and Old Faithful. I’d pitch them close to each other in quality, but quite different flavour profile. Since the Sharktooth is no longer available, I just used a referral code to save $25 while free shipping is on, getting the Old Faithful down to ~$21/bt.

You could try XZQ7L6KAny valid coupons/codes out there (X4MZ5ZX just expired), cheers....
My VM broker said its nothing to rave on about which is why I have never joined. They said it contains a majority of the cheaper bottles around the $15-$30 mark and may get 1or 2 bottles of the decent $50-$80 wines but not to expect the more expensive wines say the $100+ bottlesHas anyone signed up to either of the VM wine clubs? Just curious what it's like compared to hand selecting.
Will do!Love to hear your opinion (tasting notes optional)...
taste like red wine to me.... intense dark fruit notes not a lot of oak nor complexity (was hoping for more at the RRP price point), soft tannins with med-long finish. Has plenty left in it but not sure if I would buy at RRP....Anyone tries the 2010 Serafino Terremoto Syrah?
Opening mine tonight…

I tried it in June. I thought it was more on a medium side of things. Still some fruit left and I think can be aged further for 3-5 years. I enjoyed it, used a very large glass to bring up nuances. However I bought it elsewhere, not from mof_Anyone tries the 2010 Serafino Terremoto Syrah?

Edit - I would not buy at RRP. ..... but then I will not buy ANYTHING at RRP except for Rockford Basket Press Shiraz.

I am also a discount code. Thanks MM but getting the "not valid" response for that one too, serves me right for being a cheapskate!
