Skyscanner cheap flight booking sites

Hi All.
Just looking at flights using skyscanner and the cheapest is if you book with one of the sights which Skyscanny diverts you to.
Currently eDreams is coming out best.
Are these a reputable and reliable booking site?
Anything I need to be cautious of with these sites?

Yes - that you don't expect to need to make any changes, and that if you do need to, you accept it will cost more, and be more hassle than if you booked direct.

Book and fly and you'll be fine.
If you want to make any changes whatsoever then you will be in trouble.

Steer clear of eDreams - scammers. Get your credit card details "join you up" and in the T&Cs set you up to renew off your credit card every year. No way to cancel online. You have to ring them and then they put you through to a specialist team that harass you into not cancelling by offering worthless vouchers.

I've used Trip.com twice without issues but they are not often actually the cheapest if you look at apples for apples.

Out of curiosity, I used eDreams once for a simple domestic flight and was bombarded with spam I couldn't unsubscribe from. I have had one friend who's had a major booking issue with them and found it impossible to resolve through their support.

I'd steer clear.

Do you pay Skyscanner?
There’s your answer as to why they promote various sites.
You get a rep for selling the cheapest flights on any search. Even if people book a level higher or a different site, you go back because they were so much cheaper.
