Flagship Lounge LAX Entry?

I will be flying from Lax to Fort Lauderdale via Dallas on AA First Upgrade ticket. As a One World Emerald would I get access to the Flagship lounge and what are the showers like in this or the Admirals Club. I will have a family member with me flying in economy will he get access and can he use priority security lines with me.

Comments and advice would be appreciated. Thanks

I've showered at the LAX Flagship lounge a number of times, but they don't stand out in my memory, which tells me they were fine. Certainly refreshing after a long transpac sector.

Priority AAccess... if you present the boarding cards together with yours on top, it should be fine.

Lounge access is fine too as your non-AA-oneworld emerald gets you in+1 without issue. Your +1 does not even need to be on your flight (according to my many tests) in this lounge.

As a non-AA OneWorld Emerald (e.g. as a Qantas Platinum status member) you will have access to the AA Flagship Lounge at LAX. The showers are just fine, nothing unusual, just decent premium lounge showers. You have to ask at the desk just inside the lounge and they will page you when there is a shower available and will provide the key and towel/amenities.

They give you the key at the service desk. Towels and basic soap, shampoo, conditioner amenities can be found in the showers. If you want other amenities such as razors, toothbrushes etc, you may request them when you get the key.

Showers at LAX AA Flagship Lounge are just fine as far as lounge showers go.

In terms of priority security and access to the lounges should not be an issue as a Oneworld Emerald and guest even if guest is travelling in economy. A couple of years ago 2 of us on award bookings had no issues at LAX.
