A run of 10 consecutive flights without delay has just been broken!

I was paranoid about 23D and asked at Business Lounge to check if still 767 and she asked if I had checked luggage otherwise she would have put me on earlier flight that is just about to leave.

Back to the drawing board....

Since when do airlines revise down change costs on an existing booking?

I'm certain that the change fee on my flights (PER-SIN-PER) was $200 when I first asked about changing the flight...rang QF today and got told $100? Was a little surprised, but thought perhaps the agent was reading the wrong thing or quoting the wrong fare.

Rang Expedia Ireland (a painless process actually, after purchasing 60 mins of call time to Ireland for $1.25 on skype) to change and they confirmed, 100AUD converting to ~81EUR. Change and fare difference combined was only 102EUR and now I am going to Malaysian F1 GP which is great! Just have to book SIN-KUL-SIN on 3K.

But it made me think if I was wrong originally or if I was the beneficiary of either an odd change or a mistake!

Just gotta love the original with Gene Wilder. Oh for the days when movies didn't need CGI and relied on a good story, good actors and a good script. (I'm sounding like the grumpy middle aged man I am!)

Actually I'm unusually not as grumpy as normal. I'm about to take a flight, well four flights actually, that is (are) not work related!! In fact I'm about to start what everyone here calls a status run....made quite unnecessary by revised future travel plans.

For once there is no need for PB for me, only a small backpack today, no driving so the J lounge bar in SYD will get a bashing, and best of all no work to be done. Even better Danny Baker's autobiography was published on Kindle today!!!
