We stayed at the BKK Millenium last week and they were serving wines from Chile. The white was a Sauv. Blanc and normally I don't like this variety but this offering wasn't bad at all. Not sharp or acidic but you could taste the fruit.
The red was a Cab Sauv. and although a 2012 vintage it was mellow and easy on the palate. Not big on flavour like a Coonawarra but still easy drinking
Currently at the KL Hilton and the wines are also from Chile but a different Vineyard. The white is also a Sauv. Blanc and easy drinking but not much on the fruit. The red was a Cab. Sauv. and very mellow. Also a 2012 vintage and just average.
What is the wine like in your HH lounge ?
