It has been there for months was undergoing heavy maintenance when I saw it in MIA in April.

In other spotting news saw Joanna Griggs at the QF valet in SYD tonight
 
Sat next to Alan Border in the QP once. Was surprised that a former captain did not have CL access.
 
So I'm doing well today. Aisha Tyler on a flight from SFO to LAX on AA in F this morning and Mikey McBryan from Buffalo Airways/Ice Pilots NWT in LAS about half an hour ago.

I had Derryn Hinch on my flight to Auckland last week. Did not recognise him until we were leaving the plane. He was much shorter than I thought. Then again, I have no idea why I thought he was taller. :-)

And now we are both in the lounge waiting for the flight home. I was here first so can't be accused of stalking. :-)
 
A couple of years ago on a QF flight from LAX to MEL in J class I was seated next to a famous rapper called 'Ice Cube'...everyone seemed to know who he was except for me. Passengers and crew were falling over themselves to meet him. I can report that he did not eat or drink anything on-board except for the two huge bags of Burger King that he purchased prior to departure. He ate most of it cold despite QF staff suggesting that they warm it up for him.
 
Jane Hall, of Neighbours and Brand Power fame in the MEL J lounge last week.
Completely star struck!!! (I was a huge Neighbours fan for many years)

I've heard of him but doubt that I'd recognise him. I detest people who bring stinky food like that on a plane, world famous rapper or not...
 
Sat behind Adam Gilchrist flying PER-BNE a couple of years ago. Somebody was in his seat, but he was very gracious and took a spare seat instead of making any fuss. A real gentleman, on and off the field.

I also sat next to Wilson Tuckey on a Skywest F50 to Albany a while back. He buried his nose in reports and things and didn't say a word till we got up to disembark - "Nice meeting you" :)
 
On the bus from Noosa to Brisbane a couple of years ago there was a female couple getting very cosy. I couldn't shake the feeling I knew one of them. Then I saw her on neighbours or home and away, I don't watch them but she was on an ad.
 
Slash in QF/AA LAX lounge about 9 years ago. I had no idea who he was. Had to do a google search in the lounge to find out who he was. In the Loft, LAX, last week, Adam Zwar and Steve Liebman.

Was in the Dom J lounge at MEL a few weeks back. Upon entering some douchebag looking guy was talking loudly to lounge staff saying "he's with us" or something. I said to my partner "Great, a bunch of loud bogans". While my partner and I were talking about something, one of the lounge staff said to us "Have you seen him?" as it along the lines of our converstaion. We said who?. Turns out the group of loud bogans was Ricky Martin and entourage.

In 2010 was about to go up escalators at lax when I had priscilla Presley push past us all to get away from paparazzi, and then last year in line at duty free at lax and had one of the black eyed peas in front of me.....
 
Russell Brand a few years back, on Qantas LAX to JFK F cabin- he and a travelling companion the only other 2 in the cabin. I had no idea who he was but thought he maybe looked familiar. Sharing a cigarette later outside the terminal at JFK with a random teenager when she suddenly went all weird as he walked passed us to a waiting limo....."OMG he's famous!" - he also happened on be on the cover of rolling stone magazine which she had just bought, kudos gained when i was able to casually tell her he'd been sitting behind me on my flight.
