Royal Jordanian has launched a status match promotion. They're part of Oneworld so it would be a nice shortcut to Oneworld Sapphire status.
Unfortunately, it's only available to residents of certain countries and frequent flyers of certain airlines - mainly in Europe and the Middle East. And you have to provide ID proving you live in the country. So, probably won't be of much use to AFFers.
