April Wine Tour - The Elder Tour to Rockford

Fantastic taste experience, very civilised.
Out of their wine range I was most impressed with the Cab Shiraz blend (their first ever vintage).

The girl serving when I was there had served me a few years earlier at the Charles Melton CD - couldn’t have asked for better service either time. Good staff are a real asset. I grabbed some reserve Chardonnay on my Schild visit - My (AFF) chauffeur and tasting companion no doubt enhanced the experience further

Did warm up mini-tour with +1 today in the Barossa, managed to visit six cellar doors we haven’t been to yet.
Back to Adelide tomorrow for the main event on Sunday.

I’ve really enjoyed the last two Rockfords and unfortunately won’t be able to make this one. However I went for a tasting locally to make up for it. Hope you all have a great day.

Haven't been to Schild, but enjoyed the others. Shame to hear the Two Hands experience has become a hard sell.

Cameron Ashmead certainly provided some exceptional wines for us to taste and was very entertaining.
Thank you to those that donated prizes.
Every child won a prize, most likely two.
23 bottles of wine were given away so highly likely you won one.
Will we do it again next year?
Time will tell.
