			Tattooed mum 'belittled' by Jetstar
February 7, 2006 - 2:34PM
A Jetstar passenger says she was made to feel "like a leper" when flight attendants forced her to cover up a sexually explicit tattoo while she was on one of their flights.

This woman would do it tough in Japan. Bars, gyms, onsens (hot spring baths) often don't admit customers with tattoos. With gyms, application forms often specifically ask if the applicant has any tattoos. If you have one - it's automatic rejection. If you're at certain bars or most onsens & someone spots a tattoo on you, you'll be asked to leave immediately.
