Well based on the margin he was reelected by most WA families voted for this hermit state mentality.

Airlines are a business and they deserve some certainty. If I were Qantas I wouldnt rush adding flights because McGowan is just as likely to change his mind again costing airlines to reschedule and refund etc again. McGowan needs to prove he is actually staying open in order to be rewarded with greater service.

Airlines actually don't "deserve" anything.

They need to earn it through good judgement, working hard and providing reasonable service.
