Best way to fly to USA in Premium Economy with United?

Hi all,

It's been years since I've had to research this.

Is there a clear best way to fly on Virgin/United to USA nowadays?

I want to fly premium economy. I understand this cannot be booked through Virgin Australia anymore.

What is the best way to do this? Any tricks? Or threads I should read?

UA offer Premium Economy so you can book UA and add your VFF number to the booking or book a reward seat with Velocity points. I think you can also book through VA so you'll fly UA on VA flight numbers.
