card insurance - extended warranty - car?

hi all

has anyone made a claim through the extended warranty service on a credit card for a car?

looking at purchasing for not only the points, but also an extended warranty service. presumably you need to hold the card through to claim date?

I think you'd have to read the PDS closely to see if it qualifies. Most don't give more then 3-5 years so many cars will be covered anyway.
