Club Marriott Benefits?

Guys,

Anyone have the Club Marriott membership?
Assuming that's similar to Accor Plus and you need to renewal annually?
We've got couple of inter state holidays planned (pending border situation improvement), keen to understand whether it's worth the $399 fee.
