Thoughts on the Rockbare RB1 Shiraz 2017 at FWC ($99/6)?

I’ve had some of their other wines and they were good. This one is 4.1 on Vivino and $18/bt delivered. most shops seem to have it at $25.

Not XO but St Remy has a good pedigree being the younger sibling of Remy Martin. Save money by buying it in 1L bottle at $66 = $46.20 when compared to the 700ml bottle at $52.

Gah - I couldn't help it and slipped and fell on the buy button for the 2014 Bos C/S... aargh. Under $20 a bottle with some age seems OK. Will be interested to see if this one is, like the RSR, a very shirazey C/S, or if it's a bit more like a normal Coonawarra C/S - I expect it will be the former.

INTRODUCTION:

For $58 delivered, and in a big heavy bottle, maybe worth a punt.
