Do "gift" miles count towards the 150K annual limit?

I'm looking to book my first UA award. SYD-South Asia-SYD in F for 2 pax (so 160k miles).

This puts it just over the 150k annual limit. If I were to purchase 80K in one account, and then "give miles" to the same account for another 80k, would this be permissable? I know it's possible to just book two tickets out of each account, but to be safe I'd rather have them on the same ticket
