I am planning a redemption for Dec 23 in J from BNE to LHR for 4 adults. The connections in Singapore for 4 people all seem pretty horrible, most days (looking now for early Nov) I'd be lucky with 8 hours, but will more likely be 17 hours.
As such, I am wondering if it's possible under the same redemption to fly VA from BNE to SYD first? That was I can get a 1or 4-hour stopover in Singapore which is much more palatable when travelling with elderly parents.
