DONE4 Price drop (ex Aust)

Just booked a work DONE4 and base price has fallen by ~$1500

Initial quote was $12k plus tax ~ $13.5k for a 12 leg, TA cancelled and rebooked a not yet ticketed booking and now price is $10.5k plus tax ~ $12k

Checked price on OneWorld explore and this was confirmed.

Is that only if booked through QF? There is no mention of a sale on oneworld.com The other times there have been alliance wide sales, it's been posted in the news section of oneworld.com.

I assumed it was a price drop to reflect a drop in the fuel price.

PS I did price JNB-JNB and it was circa $6500
