Famous people seen (or even met) whilst flying or lounging

Ray Martin and his wife yesterday evening in the MEL J Lounge. They were on the severely delayed QF450...don't think either of them were particularly impressed :P

Also, I sat two rows back from Jimmy Barnes and what seemed like his ENTIRE family on the way back to SYD about two weeks ago. I believe he was returning to SYD after performing with Bruce Springsteen at Hanging Rock.

Ironically, it doesn't save any money though. Comcar drivers' wages have to be paid regardless. That's why they're often used to transfer Veterans to medical appointments etc. when spare

Stood next to Miranda Kerr at the baggage belt in Syd last night on the flight back from LAX. I had to get my bags myself - she had her helper (a small woman of about 20 years) do it for her, with encouraging words from Miranda like "bend your knees" and "be careful".
 
Simon Crean and I presume Mrs Crean in the ADL Virgin Lounge this morning. Dressed very casually, not going to work

If I was standing next to Miranda Kerr I'm not sure I'd hear a word she was saying :mrgreen:

That reminds me - Kylie was on a flight of mine from London to Marrakech a few years ago. Got whisked to the front of the line and boarded just in front of me. There was still a queue in the air bridge though so had a chat on the way to the plane!
 
Just heard a page for William Hodgman in the departure lounge at HBA. (I wouldn't blame most of you for not knowing who he is - Tasmanian Liberal party leader!)
