Thank you for all the replies. Husband has ended up getting , for himself, a JAL via Helsinki flight in business for $7600. Quite happy with that as it is school holidays and the prices at that time tend to rocket up. If I am able to go I shall look closer to the time

JAL business is very good. Window apex seats are the way to go. Depending on status some of these seats may be blocked initially, but totally worth trying to get one. They rival many airlines’ first class suites.
