Hong Kong COVID Requirements for Layover?

Thinking of taking route that will require us to layover in HKG. I see that their COVID requirements are really strict.

Has anyone had any recent experience doing a layover in HKG? Do we just need have a vaccination record, pre-travel negative test and the RAT & PCR test on arrival?

As I understand it, there are no requirements for transiting HKG, but you must stay airside and have an onward boarding pass and checked through luggage.
To go landside ( past immigration ) you have to quarantine, so not feasible for a layover.
