Can I ask what this property was like? I think it was an old Pullman? Or Meridian?
It's a tad out of the way but it's by no means isolated. It was probably a 20-25 minute walk to Arc de Triomphe and onwards down the Champs-Élysées. The lounge has very nice, panoramic views but the offerings are limited. The room was solid. Still on the small (i.e. Paris) side but certainly functional. The bathroom didn't have a tub but again made good use of space. I had a very long delay checking in, something like 12 minutes just to be served and then 18 minutes to check-out. I'd go there again but I wouldn't be paying more than about EUR190 a night, tops. Of course, Hyatt has a limited offering in Paris (like 99% of the world) and this is really the only economical option. The Madeleine property is top-notch and one of my favourites but its prices can get very high and because of it's size I don't believe the suite upgrade benefit (and certainly not the ability to apply a TSU) applies.
