Lounge Access at Paris CDG

I think I've posted this elsewhere; but I had problems at CDG after the RWC.

Having asked my agent to book me QF to ensure I got some decent points (all my travel is transtasman and domestic).

Got 'bounced' at the AirFrance lounge; was a QF code flight on AirFrance metal.

Had to sit in the disgusting lounge for a few hours.

Might I point you to post #9, NM puts it succinctly:

However, the BA lounge at CDG is nothing special. It serves a European short-haul market and is dressed to suite. Very limited snacks and warm beer.

BA's contract lounge at CDG T2B is certainly nothing special. It only had biscuits, crisps and drinks unless I missed some other available food, although it did provide newspapers in English which was nice. It does provide some nice quiet space though.

I was flying economy so in theory I wouldn't have been able to get in (I forgot that it was a contract lounge), but the nice chap at the lounge entrace let me in because it was quiet.

I also have been allowed into the BA lounge at CDG when travelling BA Y and therefore technically not permitted entry.
