ANZ told me it was three years. so be careful here

Macquarie is the only bank I've ever been rejected from. Twice. Income > $100,000. Don't get it. Not many cards at the time. Good credit rating. Last time was about 18 months ago so may be good for one more try.
 
Does this one have an end date. In the six months, I have applied for the NAB, AMEX and Citibank one so don't want to do too much damage. Not sure if something better is going to come along before Sept (when my ANZ year is up)

Just go for it. 3 applications in the last 6 months is nothing to worry about.
 
Is there any significant difference between the platinum and the black, except for the annual fee and the points cap?
 
anyone had a trouble to gt their bonus points? i signed up early when they have 40k hilton bonus points + 1 free night cert.
spent over $500 straight away after activated the card, received my free night, no drama however no points till now. was supposed to received the points early january like the others.
called them follow up and they said they will escalated it to the rewards team, however when i called for the 3rd times on the 3rd week the CS saying im not eligible. i was like shocked. and asked her to pass me to the team. and she did to the resolution team and checked my historical spending and she said im eligible for the bonus points. so she escalated again for the 2nd time. this was 3 weeks ago. today still nothing. anyone know if i can report this to ACCC to get their attention.
 
Anyone know the re-application rules for this card?
I have the old version and they won't waive the renewal fee (they reduced it last year to $99) so i'm probably going to cancel and reapply. How long should i wait?
 
Decided to apply yesterday. How long does application process take and how long to you get the card. Thanks
 
While it is not advertised on the main page it seems like there is a page up on the Macquarie site that currently advertises the $99 reduced first year fee and 40k points

Hilton HHonors Macquarie Platinum Card

I came across this offer by a direct link, interestingly it has current offer periods expiring at the end of the month but the apply link seems to be broken as it gives you an invalid offer code message.

I might give them a call and see what the story is as the free night certificate could be handy for a trip to the Conrad Maldives on the way to Europe next year.

This error has now been fixed and you can apply with the reduced fee and points offer online.
 
Interestingly I have had no contact from Macquarie, however I received an email this morning from HHonors confirming my new Gold Status.

I am going to assume that I was approved and my card is on the way.
 
can anyone comment if it's possible to transfer the points to QFF or if you can only transfer points from spend?
